In follow up to this past Sunday’s message on lust and pornography, which you can listen to here, I wanted to provide some resources that might be helpful. There are a ton of resources on the internet, which shows how big the problem is. This is not an extensive list, but it covers multiple categories that could be beneficial to a person struggling with sexual sin, a family wanting to put up safeguards for kids, a parent needing to having conversation with their teens, or someone seeking professional help. City Awakening does not wholeheartedly endorse any of these resources. There are always pros and cons. You will have to use your own judgement to decide what will be best for you. If you need help or would like to talk to someone further about this issue, our staff is willing to listen and help in any way that we can. As mentioned in the sermon, one of the best things we can do to fight the sin is to expose it to the light. If we continue to pretend that it doesn’t exist, then it will continue to consume us from the inside out.
