Aid for Venezuela

Two massive earthquakes have had devastating effects on the country of Venezuela — and we have an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ.

Scripture reminds us, "Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed" (Proverbs 19:17). Today, that call to generosity is urgent and real.

Global Orlando Church is mobilizing to send critical relief — food, water, medicine, hygiene supplies, and more — directly to families in Caracas and La Guaira, Venezuela, and you can be a part of the mission. Read below to find all the details.

Why: As a non-profit organization, we (Global Orlando Church) want to respond with love, order, transparency, and responsibility. Our strategy will be to raise funds from Orlando and send them to our Global Barquisimeto Campus. From there, our team of volunteers will purchase food, water, medicine, hygiene items, and other essential supplies within Venezuela, and then deliver them to Caracas and La Guaira, prioritizing verified families and urgent needs. In this first phase, we will not be collecting food, clothing, or boxes from Orlando. The fastest and most effective help will be financial, as it allows us to buy directly inside Venezuela, respond more quickly, and avoid the costs and delays of shipping aid from the United States. Additionally, at the end of this campaign, we will report the total amount raised and share the purchase and delivery process of the aid.
