A Place For Growth & Connection
Between Sundays

What Are

Small Groups?

We have three seasons for small groups: Fall, Spring, Summer. At the beginning of each season, groups start fresh with open sign-ups. You may sign up for a group based on the meeting day, location, or topic of study, which may change each season. This rhythm allows for healthy balance, flexibility, and more opportunities for connections.

How Do I

Find A Group?

Small groups are the primary means for making disciples at City Awakening, and engaging in a small group is the most important next step for every member and guest. Each group is designed around four components: prayer, Bible study, community, and multiplication.

Groups meet on different days and at various locations. Most meet every other week for approximately 3 months, and they typically have space to join mid-season.

When & Where

Do Groups Meet?

Discipleship Groups

Discipleship Groups (D-Groups) are designed to provide a deeper level of study, accountability, and action. D-groups consist of 2-4 people of the same gender who commit to meet every other week for at least one year. Their study guides the group through the three key actions of a disciple: Discover, Deepen, and Display. A primary goal of these groups is for disciples to become disciple-makers by being equipped to start and lead new D-Groups in the future. If you are interested in getting connected to a D-Group, please fill out this form so that a pastor can assist you.
