APRIL PRAYER GUIDE

THEME: DISCIPLESHIP

Incorporate the following prayer prompts into your daily prayer time.

Day 1

Jeremiah 29:13

Discover: Ask God to reveal more of Himself to you this week through Scripture and in

prayer. Pray for Him to give you eyes to see and ears to hear, that you may continue to

discover His power and character. 

Day 2

Psalm 77:11-12

Discover: Reflect on the work God has done in your life. Look back through Scripture

highlights, a prayer journal, or sermon notes. What has God revealed in the past that he

wants you to remember today? 

Day 3

Colossians 3:1-2

Deepen: Ask God to show you next steps to take in your faith. What is needed to

deepen your walk with the Lord? Pray for guidance in setting your mind on the things

above. 

Day 4

James 4:8

Deepen: Ask God to help you remove any barriers that may be holding back your

relationship with Him. Pray that God would reveal any unrepentant sin in your life and

be quick to confess it before Him. Who in your life can you confess your sins to and find

help in accountability? 

Day 5

3 John 1:1-4

Display: Ask the Holy Spirit to empower you to unashamedly display your love for God,

His Scripture, and His Church. Pray for opportunities to encourage your friends and

family, spurring them on in their own walk with Jesus. 

Day 6

1 Peter 3:15-16

Display: Pray that God would give you the boldness and discernment to share your faith

with someone in your life who is a skeptic or does not yet know the Lord.

Day 7

Hebrew 5:12-14

Discipleship: Ask God to give you a “Holy Discontent” to be a growing disciple and

active disciple-maker. Pray for freedom from sin and shame that can derail your growth,

and lean into the unconditional love of God, who desires to do a mighty work in you and

through you.
