You’ll hear that City Awakening Church is a casual community that places great emphasis on exploring real life solutions to real life issues. Get Connected
One of the best ways to get connected at City Awakening Church is through what we call Missional Community Groups. Missional Community Groups are small groups of 8-12 people who meet around the city throughout the week in order to facilitate genuine loving relationships while carrying out life’s purpose together. Each of our groups feature diverse relationships, centered in a conversational Bible study. No matter where you are in your journey with God, you’ll find friendly people ready to connect and grow together. When joining a Missional Community Group, new friends will soon feel like family.
Our church also offers topic-specific groups meeting for 6 weeks at a time called Breakout Groups. These groups are perfect for people looking for a short-term study or a specific topic to help them grow spiritually. Breakout Groups launch throughout the year and meet in various locations. Baptism
Baptism is the way that we publicly declare our faith in Jesus. At City Awakening Church, we try to follow the practice exactly as we see it described in the Bible. The word “baptism” comes from the Greek word baptizo, which means: “to immerse or dip under the water, to cleanse by submerging”.

The Growth Track is a unique 3-step process designed to help you move from the sidelines to the playing field – engaging with the community and fulfilling your God-given purpose. It’s perfect for anyone wanting to move from casual attender to engaged participant at City Awakening.
